1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LearnerLM Android application, backend API, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by LearnerLM ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for students in grades 6–12 and other learners seeking educational assistance. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, unless applicable law requires parental consent for users under 13, in which case a parent or legal guardian must provide that consent on your behalf.
If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service and that they have reviewed these Terms on your behalf.
3. The Service
LearnerLM provides AI-assisted educational tools including tutoring, study aids, homework scanning, code assistance, and progress tracking. The Service is designed to support learning through guided questions, hints, and explanations — not to complete academic work on your behalf.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
This website provides product information and legal documents only. It does not offer chat functionality, AI interactions, or live support chat.
4. Accounts
To use most features, you must create an account through Firebase Authentication. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current registration information
- Maintain the security of your login credentials
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
5.1 Plans
LearnerLM offers free ("Standard") and paid subscription plans ("Pro," "Premium," "Mega," and similar tiers) with different feature limits and capabilities. Current plan details are displayed in the app and on our homepage.
5.2 Google Play Billing
Paid subscriptions are purchased through Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. All billing, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are subject to Google Play's terms and policies.
5.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.
5.4 Free Trials & Promotions
If we offer a free trial or promotional pricing, eligibility and terms will be disclosed at the time of offer. Unused trial periods are forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
5.5 Refunds
Refund requests for Google Play purchases must be submitted through Google Play in accordance with Google's refund policies. We do not control Google's refund decisions.
5.6 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices. Price changes for renewing subscriptions will take effect after notice as required by Google Play and applicable law.
6. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You may not use LearnerLM to cheat on assessments, violate academic integrity policies, harass others, or engage in unlawful activity.
7. AI Disclaimer
LearnerLM uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI output may be incorrect, biased, outdated, or inappropriate. The Service does not replace teachers, tutors, parents, or professional advisors.
You acknowledge that:
- AI responses are provided for educational assistance only
- You are responsible for verifying important information independently
- LearnerLM is not liable for academic outcomes based on reliance on AI-generated content
- You should use the in-app report feature to flag harmful or inaccurate AI content
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by LearnerLM or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, process, store, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service, including generating AI responses and enforcing safety policies.

9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Play, and cloud infrastructure providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and, if desired, deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR ACADEMIC PURPOSE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEARNERLM AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY. IN SUCH CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LearnerLM from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which LearnerLM operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
